Selena Gomez - an international singer and actress - is a household name. She has been involved in various projects. However, the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born July 22, 1993 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Selena's mother Amanda Cornett, who was sixteen years old at the time Selena was born. As a 9-year-old, Selena landed her debut in the world of showbiz as she portrayed Gianna in Barney and her Friends. This way she became one of the thousands of youngsters who've been able to have a chance to play with the humanoid purple dinosaur, which is now famous in the history.
